NICOLINA MASTERPLAN
On the 24.2 hectares site operated the historical Nicolina Iasi factory and workshops for locomotives and train cars. Nowadays the factory is closed and its buildings demolished,
except for two which will be refurbished. To establish development guidelines, we studied the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan.

This area can act as a centralizing pole with mixed-use functions. The center of the masterplan will be the historic buildings as well as an urban cultural center, surrounded by a park. In the north, towards the city center, there will be a dense office and retail area.
In the southern part, along the promenade, the residential area will be placed with decreasing heights towards the interior of the ensemble – the park area and the center of the neighborhood.
