DOS GALGOS HOUSE
Nominated at BNA 2025

We are pleased to share that our design for Dos Galgos House has been officially nominated for the Bienala Națională de Arhitectură 2025, one of the most prestigious professional events in Romanian architecture.

The Bienala Națională de Arhitectură (BNA), organized by the Uniunea Arhitecților din România (UAR), celebrates the diversity, innovation, and relevance of contemporary architecture in Romania. The 2025 edition, themed “ALTFEL”, invites architects to rethink design in response to today’s evolving challenges—creating spaces that are more resilient, sustainable, and human-centred.

Dos Galgos House was selected among the projects that exemplify this spirit of innovation and architectural excellence. The project explores a thoughtful approach to landscape, form, and program, integrating architectural ideas with environmental context to create meaningful spatial narratives.

Being nominated at BNA 2025 is a meaningful recognition of our team’s commitment to architecture that responds to its time—balancing creativity, social relevance, and environmental awareness. We look forward to the upcoming stages of the Biennale and to sharing more updates with you.

About the Bienala Națională de Arhitectură 2025

The Bienala Națională de Arhitectură is Romania’s foremost architectural biennial, a laboratory of ideas and a platform for reflection on current architectural practice. NEW HERITAGE - 3rd place winner for the 2025 Biennale di Venezia Competition

We are excited to announce the groundbreaking of our ambitious project for the renewal of an existing building within Făgăraș protected area. The proposal seeks to honor the architectural heritage of the site while transforming it into a refined three-star hotel. What if architecture could do more than create spaces—what if it could forge connections? Our proposal celebrates Romania’s unique cultural landscapes, where nature and tradition coexist in harmony. This vision reclaims sustainable construction and community-driven practices, reshaping architecture as a mediator between humanity and the natural world. Construction thus becomes a communal act, bringing people together whilst architecture isn’t just built—it’s lived, shared, and sustained.
