3rd place winner for the 2025 Biennale di Venezia competition




The New Heritage proposal celebrates Romania’s cultural and ecological essence, highlighting the harmony between nature and traditional living. It reclaims the bond between humanity and nature through integrative architecture that mediates relationships between communities, the built environment, and the natural world. 






By prioritizing local materials, circular economies, and low-carbon methods, the project bridges traditional wisdom with modern sustainability. At its core, it reimagines rural shelters and annexes as simple, functional structures blending ecological principles with technology, offering a replicable model for sustainable living and community-building.
